I sold a $15 item to a guy on ebay. A few weeks later the guy says he never got the item I sent him. I tell him "whatever" and that I will send a refund.
I send the guy a $15 money order.
A week later the guy sends the money order back to me along with an apology. He says his wife asked what the money order was for. He told her it was a refund for an item he never received. She tells him that item is sitting out in garage.
Now I have a money order with this guys name on it. My question is how should I cash it? Should I cross off his name and put mine in? Should I sign his name on the back with an endorse to (my name)?
